You can get approved with under a 660 credit score for home loan. I had a 620 credit score and got approved for a homepath loan, The Lenders Network sent me to one of their lenders to get me approved so I would them first.

Good Luck!

I am a Realtor and I am an FHA 203k loan Specialist. The 203k loan will allow you to roll the repair costs into one mortgage payment. If you are looking for a property that you can fix up then you can do that with any home not just a Homepath listing. Your 650 credit score is fine for an FHA loan. Most lenders provide 203k funding. If you wish to improve your score you can visit http://www.smartcredit.com/exitrealty to enroll in a credit coach program. Visit my website at http://www.laurelmdrealestateguide.com for more info. Also if you are a teacher, firefighter, military personnel or police officer visit my Hero Home Source page at http://www.herohomesource.com/terrimccoll for rebates and incentives.

Not all lenders offer Homepath loans. You just need to find one who does. I have helped several buyers buy with Homepath. Please let me know if you have anymore questions.

I also work with several lenders that should be able to help you but there must some kind of issue that is holding you back. Homepath properties are foreclosures and although they will finance the property and even lend you rehab money their rates are usually very high. One question to ask you is why a Homepath property? There are 100's of foreclosures out there.

Hi Eric,

I work with several lenders who can assist you with determining what might be the issue.

Please feel free to contact me. I would be more than happy to provide you with those references. Each lender has different qualifying criteria, so a different lender may be what you need.

Thanks!

Eric,

I would recommend giving a good lender a call. I recommend Nick Pakulla with First Place Bank. His main office is in Rockville. 301.585.7283
