Hello Dave-
I'm an agent with Century 21 in Siren, WI. I would recommend talking to a local lender here and I can give you some recommendations. You can contact me through my website. Thank you!

Hi again, Dave.....

If you care to call me about what the criteria and benefits are of the Minnesota program are, I'd be happy to explain. Again, I'd think WI must have something along the same lines. MN's program basically gives the Buyer (must be first time and have qualifications) over $14,000 for down payment and closing cost at 0% interest till you sell or refinance and the loan is 30 yr fixed at or below market rate usually.

Personally, I would much prefer this to any rent-to-own program which are usually heavily slated to the sellers benefit.

My contact info is on my website. http://www.toddnorsted.com

Thanks, Todd

Look at every property for lease on the market. Find one you like. Then ask if you can do a rent to own. That'll give you a great place at no money down,

Hi Dave.....

I can't speak to programs available in Wisconsin, Minnesota has great programs for that which I have used many times! In MN, it's called MFHA, but I'd have to think WI has a very similar program or programs. In Siren, there is an Edina Realty office and I would visit with a realtor in that office who will be very familiar with first time homebuyer programs or surely get you in touch with a qualified lender who is a pro on mortgages. If you'd like to get in touch with me, I'd be happy to refer you to a qualified agent in that agent. My contact info is on my website, which is http://www.toddnorsted.com Below is a link for the Siren Edina Realty office also, should you want that office's information.

I wish you the best! Buying your first home is a wise and wonderful thing!

Thanks, Todd
