If your believe your credit is not good enough to qualify for a loan, you should speak to a lender that offers FHA loans. FHA guidelines allow more derogatory marks than conforming guidelines. You still might have to work on your credit, but not as much. You can read more about FHA loans at their officail site. This web address will take you directly to there.

Also, if you have to work on your credit, you can find some useful information at creditinfocenter.com.

Hope this helps!

Hello! I would visit with a couple of your local lenders and/or credit unions and they should be able to pull your report, one of them, and assist you in not only what you need to do know but when you would be able to move into that new home! Get a plan and stick to it and you will be in that new home. Best wishes to you!
