Hi Bc - as the other realtors have asked - it depends on what criteria you are looking for with location. If you want to buy a smaller home in RI, then the further south you go towards Newport and the water, the higher the price tag will be. If you just want to spend a median amount of money, places like Warwick and East Greenwich, or Barrington and Bristol have properties by the water if that is what you're interested in for location. Or there are the country towns of Coventry, Johnston and those north of Providence. Wherever you go in northern RI, you're probably not more than a 20-30 min drive from the main city. I am licensed both in MA and RI, and with an email address, I can set you up on our Prudential website so you can see a variety of homes in different towns and areas of RI so you can educate yourself on places and prices of homes around the state and then choose where to go from there. I eish you well in your search.

That depends on what is most important to you, price or proximity to beaches, etc.

A couple of questions. Are you looking for a principal residence or is the condo a vacation home and you would be looking to do a 1031 exchange. If you are looking for a beach community I would reconmend Narragansett, South Kingstown or Charlestown. Charlestown having the lower tax rate. Your question is too ambiguous. What are your primary concerns? Schools, Municipality, Taxes, close proxcimity to highways, in-town locations, etc. We would be happy to enter any of your questions or concerns. Bobremax@cox.net
