Why do you need a loan modification?
Your loan modification can be 60-90 for approval. Your loan is consider top on the list base on credit score and the detail of your loan and the information recieved from you to the company. Be patience and call your loan represenative
I bought a home from WaMu and they were absolutely clueless! Their right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. I don't know if they are going under, but I personally would avoid doing business with them.
I also would not hold any shares of their stock, either. In my home purchase WaMu was so unprofessional, that they lost money on the deal even though I tried to pay them more for the house. In the end, I got a very sweet deal on the house and WaMu probably lost about $200,000-$350,000 in the transaction. Maybe they didn't care because they new that the government would bail them out.
We've only seem the tip of the iceberg with banks both investment and commercial. Not only are they buried in REO's and short sales they have liquidity problems and massive write-offs in the trillions. This is why we are having the credit crunch along with the other economic ills. We will not see a turn around in the housing market until all of that bad debt is quantified and valued so the real losses will be known. Bad lending standards and cheap money caused this yet nobody saw this coming? Yeah right... It's not rocket science you either can aford a home or you cannot.
sorry....bob mcclure- (248) 974-4444....call me anytime...........
Most banks are swamped right now, and not everyone qualifies for a loan modification. You need to communicate with the bank, and specifically, the people that got your paperwork going. I would call everyday until I get some answers. I know that for my clients and me, the first and second requests for info rarely gets answered, especially with banks like WAMU, Indy Mac, and Countrywide. I keep calling until I get results.
Hang in there.
