Missouri bond money is available through all the large lenders. Check with your local Countrywide office, Commerce Bank or any other large lender in your neighbohood. Be sure to ask about the fine print- bond money does come with certain guidelines and a pre-payment penalty. This can be a great program - just be sure to understand what happens if your situation changes. Happy Buying!
You really need to call a reputable mortgage officer here in the area familiar with all of the different programs. Feel free to send me an email to listwithchris@kw.com and I'll send you three mortgage people that I trust and respect.
I also wanted to tell you you can search for HUD owned homes in your area by following the links at hud.gov. If you qualify for a FHA loan, you can purchase a HUD home for $100 downpayment, and HUD will pay up to 5% of the purchase price in closing costs (must match other closing costs rates in your area). I wish you good luck......
Go to FHA.gov and find a FHA mortgage counselor. They can point you in the right direction... and it's free.
