How long does it usually take to close on a purchase involving an FHA loan?

I am not happy with the boker I have applied for an FHA loan with and would like to work with someone else. However, I am concerned about meeting the deadline for the 8000 tax credit.. I would like an opinion as to whether I have adequate time to work with another broker.

FIRST ANSWER

Do you have a property under contract? If so, we can close in as little as about 2 weeks typically, but normal is 30 day closings.
