Cj,
Have you tried talking with a mortgage broker about your situation. There are so many different programs available. You might be surprised when you really explore your options. We recommend speaking with several different mortgage agents. Try C & L Funding and ask for Chris Lyon 941-320-7077.

Good luck,

A hard fix is a temporary fix. If you were able to get the credit to look like it was worthy enough to be a buyer and later you ended in foreclosure the possibility of mortgage fraud would be very strong AND you could be considered the perpetrator. The "Hard Fix" lady would be long gone!

Don't do it that way. Go to the legitimate sources as mentioned below, bank, attorneys, True Non-Profits, and veryify the Non-Profit's status with the Department of state.

Best of all read Dave Ramsey and watch his show on Fox Business Channel or listen to him on talk radio. he gives nothing but great advice and can teach you how to dig yourself out of the hole. It was an easy hole to dig, it will be much harder to fill in

There are no free lunches and no overnight credit fixes

Good Luck

There are only 3 entities that can do credit repair legally (a bank, an attorney, and 5013c non-profit). If an agency is not one of these, it is a scam! I've heard of agencies charging as high as $3000 )depending on what part of the country. The legit agencies work within the Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1970. The 80+ page document give you the power you need to get your credit right. However, I tried myself....but I didn't have the time or energy. I found a company with a money back guarantee..and I was thrilled!! Went from 525-740 in 5 months!! www.CREDITREPAIRFORANYBODY.com

Most credit repair places ARE a scam, so make sure that you use someone highly recommended by someone yout trust or that has used the same service for years.

The QUICKEST time period we have ever seen was 60 days for everything (that was quick!)
Most reports we see take 6 - 12 months, and my thought is all of that 'stuff' didn't get on there over night, so it won't be removed overnight.. Like with anything, it is a process and it does take time.

I have a client that we pulled credit on 12 months ago, we just re pulled and it is now about 127 points higher on average for both applications. All they did was listen to my advise regarding building credit (we told them where to go) and started them on the credit repair process and there is a substantial difference!

FROM THE LOW 500'S TO THEMID 600'S (2 APPLICANTS)

all the best,
Katrina

Hi CJ, My name is Lorraine Bennett and I am a Real Estate Professional employed with Keller Williams Realty in the Plant City area. I would agree with Sandy that you need to be very careful when dealing with someone claiming to do anything and asking for money up-front to do it! However, this is a very valid service and if you find the right people to help you, you could very well be buying a home this time next year! In fact, I just closed on a home for a young woman who shared with me that she used a service last year to help her do this exact thing. Now, I hate to disagree with another agent but I would also be careful of following Matthew Bunt's advice and endeavor to handle this yourself! That would be akin to him suggesting that you try to sell your own home or represent yourself in purchasing a home! You need a professional and the right one will be able to advise you how you should proceed. I refer my clients to Consumer Protection Law Service (http://cplsonline.com/). This is a very reputable service that I am personally familiar with. I feel confident that they will be able to assist you or at least provide you with valuable information that will steer you in the right direction if you are going to attempt to try your credit repair on your own. CJ, I'd also ask that if you do contact them that you let them know I referred you. This way they will keep me apprised of your progress and when you are ready to start your search I'll be ready to assist you! Please don't heisttae to call me if you have any more questions and would like to speak personally. I can be reached at (813) 716-3997.

In my neck of the wood here in Texas that 500-$900 is a waste of money to repair your credit. You can order your own credit report from the three major credit bureas. And challenge anything on your report you disagree with plus this will take time. 1-2 months isn't the truth according to the truth and lending laws becuase the bureas aren't going to drop everything to answer yan inquiry your's or anyone elses. Go to any office supply store and purchase the credit repair program and follow the instructions and you will be amazed at yourself and be able to help others. Take the $500-$900 you just saved yourself and pay off a small bill it's a start. You are on your way in self-credit repair.

Hi Cj,

If I were you, I would be very careful.

Typically it takes a period of time to repair your credit.
