Does anyone do mortgages on manufactured homes in Michigan?

Yes, there are lenders out there that will finance manufactured homes, I work with 2 of them directly. The borrower must have at least a 620 credit score to secure this type of financing. If there is anything I can do to assist with this process please contact me.

Who are they cause Wells Fargo does not.

Hi Karen, Wells Fargo finances manufactured homes as does First Bank.

No they dont cause I have been preapproved with Wells Fargos for a home and when I decided to buy modular they said no!

Also, ask your local lenders. Many can do "portfolio loans" within their bank and/or will do loans with a substantial amount down.
Good luck!!! As a Realtor in northern Mich, we have more than our fair share of manufactured homes on the market.
