Thanks for anyone's advice on 203K loans for this unfinished Santa Barbara, CA home, but was told it had to have a Certif of Occupy. This home has an ext but only framed int. It was built in 04 and has never been lived in. Can't find funding for it. Last resort is construction money. Any referrals?
Hi G,
I can actually assist you with a construction loan. On a 203k loan a C/O would be required in order to finance the property. Shoot me an email so we can discuss your options in further details.
Will Addo is a Renovation Specialist with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. We finance 1 in every 4 home in your Market. While having no Best Sellers to his name, he's really a decent chap for all intensive purposes. By email, Will can be reached at willis.addo@wellsfargo.com. By phone, he can be reached directly at 770-497-6006
These days outside of FHA 203k and Fannie Mae Homepath, most construction loans are through private money sources.

Good Luck!
