If your husband or ex-husband is no longer living in the home, he will not be able to qualify for any of the government programs. Those programs require the home to be his primary residence. I would discuss with your divorce attorney what your options are.

If your husband is paying you child support or alimoney maybe you can use that to help you qualify for a mortgage and have the home transfered to you. Discuss that with a mortgage professional.

Hello Jme- if you are the person trying to save your home and you are not currently on the loan as it was recorded, there is no way to have any Government loan intervention. Your best bet would be to determine if it is manageable to have you begin a mortgage on your own, in your own name only. If not you would need to speak with the lender together and explain the situation to attempt to save your home.
Hope this helps!
