Chester county first time home buyer rebate?

Asked by Amanda Domergue, Philadelphia area Sun Mar 16, 2008

We were told that first time home buyers are receiving up to a 15K rebate from the county to stimulate home sales. I think this is also the case in Montgomery county as well. Does anyone know about this or have any information?

That depends on how much the house your buying is. The government was offering 8k and 6.5k but that is over. You can still get the realtor rebate however. You would have to buy a house over 700k to get that high of a rebate.
