There are, but it's slim and hard to get. I have wholesale lenders who do it but you must meet all other FHA guidelines. No exceptions!
below 620, you can go for FHA loan, but as Robert mentioned very few lenders will work with you depending on your employment history, your income and other factors... If your score is near 620 then best for you will be to improve your credit and try it bring it above 620 so that you can get decent rates for FHA loan...
Yes you can still go less than 620 on FHA and VA financing. There are less lenders that will do these loans, but they are available. Compensating factors will help such as debt-to-income ratio within reason, cash reserves in the bank, long time on job, good explanation for credit problems, etc...
