During the summer Coney Island is crowded with visitors to the beaches, & Steeplechase Park, millions of visitors per year enjoy hotdogs at Nathans home of the famous hot dog eating contest, or the Mermaid Parade, they take strolls on the Reigelman boardwalk or perhaps a ride on the Cyclone or maybe they come to see the Polar Bears swim on New Years Day. Many come to see the ball game at Keyspan Park or just to enjoy a day relaxing on the beach. Gargiulo's restaurant on W. 15th Street is a popular destination for fine Italian cuisine. Its also home of the NY Aquarium.
