Holiday plans?
I was wondering how the Voices community was spending the holiday season.

Going snowboarding up at Mt. Shasta. We just had a storm roll over, and it dumped a bunch of fresh powder!

Who is the Scrooge giving TDs on this? Sylvia and I both deleted our answers. Not that it makes any difference because TDs aren't counted. I don't know why Sylvia deleted her answer but I did because it really contained confidential information.
My Christmas Card and some videos are linked. I did that this morning because of a really strange post I made. I need to see how many TDs I got on that one. Ruth Sun Dec 23 2007, 17:00 Web Reference: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=229988568960E56...

Just baked 36 Dozen of my Mom's Sicilian Chocolate Spice Xmas cookies. When I grew up with my 5 brothers we didn't know what a store bought cookie looked like. My Mom would bake biscotti, redolent with anise, along with the spice cookies. She'd dump them in these big tins which would sit on the back porch. If you wanted a cookie you went to the tin and grabbed a few. She glazed the spice cookies but the biscotti were unadorned. After a few months you'd have to soak them for about an hour in your milk to get them to soften up!! My mother would bake for 3 days solid.
I made the cookies at my brother's catering company in St. Helena over in the Napa Valley (right next door to the Sonoma Valley--40 minutes over the hill) and we did the whole 36 dozen, mixed, formed, baked and glazed in 2 hours!! So now I'll be shipping them off to brother's located near and far, bring some to my niece and great niece and nephew on Xmas eve. Xmas day I’ll enjoy a very expensive Cigar with my best buddy for Xmas morning breakfast; a long standing tradition. Quiet day otherwise. Rash of Realtor parties have come and gone. I really enjoy watching our young leadership take root and take charge. Seeing them grow, mature, become more measured in their professional lives is one of the joys of our great industry. We’re all going to learn our fate in 2008!! Hopefully this means we'll ALL be great in 2008! Sun Dec 23 2007, 14:26 Web Reference: http://www.MikesRealEstateShow.com

One of my quieter holidays. Spending time with just close friends and family. Went to a few parties earlier, but over the actual holidays, will be involved w/ small groups only. Also, spending time visitng family in hospitals and care centers. Things are looking up, so we are happy. :-) Thankful right now that things are looking up, and that makes for a good holiday.
Clueless about New Years plans....a week away and no idea. The one day at a time routine has been working so far, so we are staying on the same game plan for now. Sun Dec 23 2007, 14:10
