Sorry...as of this time, there isn't a property on Horton that is actively offered for sale.
Your link pointed to a property that was just foreclosed by the bank. Typically the bank will assign a realtor who will then post it for sale on the MLS
The only other property on Horton that was for sale is now pending, subject to short sale lender approval
If you're interested in buying property in this area, and if you haven't already engaged a realtor, I respectfully suggest that you align yourself with a good realtor who can help you find a suitable property. And if you haven't already gotten preapproved for a loan (provided you're not buying in cash), you should ask your realtor to give you some recommendations.
You'll read --- over and over again --- that RealtyTrac should not be your resource for properties for sale. Get a realtor instead.
Let me know how I can help you. Good luck... more

your best strategy is to find a good local agent who knows the area and can work on your behalf. In 99% of the transactions buyer's agent fees are paid by listing agent39;s commission. Buying realestate is a big deal. Get your advice from someone who is committed to your objectives.
It’s not that a BMR owner doesn’t want to sell to you at a higher price – they can’t. The maximum price is set by the governing agency (city or county) and a buyer must not only qualify with a low income, the purchase price cannot exceed the established limit. In addition, when the property sells the next time, the price will be set substantially below market at that time as well. Although BMRs are a great idea, all of the conditions make a BMR VERY hard to sell and a very questionable purchase.
Since there is no agent contact or address infos included, my suggestion is to contact a local realtor to get the informations for you, and submit the offer by that realtor. Which means you will need a Buyer's agent to represent you to put an offer, and work with you till closing.... more
This property just had an accepted offer as of June 23.
Note that there are restrictions as to who can buy this property since it falls under the auspices of Emeryville's Affordable Housing Set-Aside Program. This program calls for, and requires developers to provide 20% of the units in new developments with at least 30 units and make them affordable to: low, low and moderate income households.
There are strict eligibility requirements depending on income limits and size of the household.
Additionally, to be eligible, the buyer must occupy the unit as his principal residence the entire time of owning the property.
Applicants for the Below-Market-Rate (BMR) units must have adequate funds for down payment and closing costs, and an adequate credit rating to qualify.
And yes, the developer markets the new BMR units by holding public information meetings, and a lottery to determine the order for processing applications.
if you want to be on the City's BMR Housing Notification list, call (510) 596-3789.
The City gives first priority to those who live in Emeryville for at least 6 months; second priority to those who work in Emeryville.
Good luck!... more
