If you filter out the units that are over 1,000 sf, the average price per square foot for the last half of last year was $387/sf. The average for the last half of this year is $528/sf.
While last year most of the transactions we all cash - we are now seeing more financed offers. Assuming that rates don't rise much more through 2015 I would expect prices to remain essentially flat or up just slightly.... more

Also...are you trying to get your 2008 property tax adjusted? If so, the properties should have sold BEFORE March 31, 2008, not 2009. If this is the case, your deadline to file your reques is April 10, 2009.
The new property taxes adjustment for 2009 can't be filed until after July 2009.
"For information on how to obtain and complete an application call (510) 272-6352 or visit the Clerk's website at http://www.acgov.org/clerk/assessment.htm. The appeal application must be filed between July 2 and September 15, 2009. "

Sounds like you're getting ready to apply for property tax reassessment.
Just getting a list of homes isn't going to help. What will help is for you to provide a description of your property (type, number of bedrooms/baths, square footage, address, etc) so that a search of good comparisons will be more targeted towards what actually compares with your property.
I've done the research for several of my clients as part of my service, to help them prepare their case for reassessment (no charge). Don't hire someone to do this for you --- you can do this yourself, or ask a realtor to get the info you need. But the info must be very specific to your property. Otherwise, you'll have to sift through hundreds of sales in this zip code, before March 31 2008 (starting from when?).

The last reported information on that unit shows that it sold in October 2006 for $528,000. If you would like a more detailed analysis of what a similar unit would sell for in today's market, please feel free to contact me.
