I am not sure about that property, there is no link to check it. If you are looking for up to date foreclosure listings, I would like to recommend http://www.bankforeclosuressale.com. It is a leading website database that contains over two million foreclosure homes, including bank foreclosures, government foreclosures like VA homes and HUD homes, distressed properties and commercial properties that are for sale all across the nation. All of the listings have had any outstanding liens eliminated and the title is free and clear. We also update our extensive collection of listings every day.... more
Dear PJB, That is a tax question and should be addressed to the person who will be filing your taxes. If that is you, you can call the IRS or even a local HR Block type of place. With that being said, when you speak with a professional tax person reference the "Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act" enacted on December 20, 2007 and has been extended through 2012. You can also find the article and the information on the official IRS site, I've put the link down below here. The IRS form for it is Form 982 and must be attached to your tax return.
Good luck to you!... more
Cara, Here is the info that we have here on Trulia. If you look at the bottom of the page there is a chart that will give you "Crime Stats" This is the basic info that we get from public sites. This is just an easy place to get an overview. If you would like some thing more detailed I would check with the local police sites or city offices they can give you any details that you need. Remember it is a matter of public record.
