MS. Pompey, I grew up in Houston, and loved it!! I now live in Daphne, very near Japonica. I would need the exact location & size to give an accurate price to sell. I can say, unless it is priced under market value, you most likely would not have a quick sale. But, you NEVER know, until it is out there with a sign on it!! I would be happy to help you establish a price, and market this property for you.

Most condos DO allow pets, but they require a pet deposit. Usually there is a limit on number of pets & size of the dogs. Each condo association has its own rules. I have shown many units at this Yacht Club Drive location, and each section is different, but, most allow pets within a certian criteria of numbers, and weight.
I would be happy to show you these condos, and we can get specific answers from the Sellers.

If you are getting mortgage, the mortgage underwriters will tell what types of coverage the required on the specific property in order to guarantee their interests are protected.
However, if you paid cash, you have to decide what amount of risk you can afford to take. Basically, can you afford to cover all the damage and loss of belongings if a flood damages or destroys your home.... more
This is a property and company specific question. That's why it's very important to contact multiple agents for quotes once you have decided on a property, as they can vary by hundreds of dollars. It is also dependent upon the deductibles you choose to absorb at each coverage level.

Reasons properties are sold are as varied as the people who own them. However, Daphne, and especially Lake Forest, seemed to have been hit extra hard with foreclosures over the past several years. Now that many of the bankruptcy properties are selling, those that have been wanting to sell who didn't need to do a foreclosure are finally entering the market. Buyers are also realizing that prices are starting to go up and properties are moving, so if you like a home, it's important to make your offer ASAP.
Please give me a call if I can assist you in visiting this or any other properties. I will gladly research active listings to target a search specific to your needs.... more
