on his yard...butting it up to mine ,We have a six foot privacy fence ....1 foot inside our property line like a permitt told us to do.He seems to think he can use ours as part of his and run his right up to ours....2 feet into our property. I asked him if he had his property survyed when he purchased it,he said no' he didnt have to...Well i was born and raised in the house i am mentioning so i know well where the propery line beginns and ends .And with our house on the market hes decreasing our value . What can i do to make sure hes doing things legal.?

Have a certifed statek survey (not a mortgage report or sketch) Also, contact your local zoning department or building department and see if he has a permit for the fence and ask what the rules are. You will probably find that the fence he is installing must be on his property and he must be able to prove it is his property.
