what is the neighbourhood like for children
Charlene,
Summitt road sits in relatively the center of the Montecito area. With this said the road splits as it hits the Montecito Country Club and then continues on the the other side, so it really depends on which side you are talking about. Both sides though are very safe in that there is not too much traffic, only local traffic for that road and maybe one other small road. There are no sidewalks which is very common in out town here. There are for sure many other children and most homes here have decent sized lots so children end up playing in yards of other homes. Some of the homes to have views and most range from about the $1.8 million to the $2.5 Million range (with a few very high end homes).
Hope this helps. Please call me directly if you have any other questions. I would be happy to share my experiences of growing up here in this town. I can let you know personally how it is to be a child here. You can reach me directy at 805-689-6877 or my website at http://www.KevinSchmidtchen.com
Montecito Real Estate
Hi Charlene,
I'm not sure how familiar you are with the area, so I'll provide more background information that you may need (just in case). Summit road is located in Montecito, CA and runs between Hot Springs and Alston Rd,. Almost every street in Montecito is great for kids in a lot of ways: Privacy, security, low traffic count, great schools, beautiful scenery with lots of mature trees and shrubs to explore and play in, etc. Regarding Summit road, there is some traffic as Alston and Hot Springs are some of the main thorough fares through Montecito. Summit rd is going to get less traffic than both of them, but obviously isn't going to be as quiet or as safe as some of the smaller Montecito lanes.
Are you looking at a specific property on Summit Rd?
I'd strongly recommend you take a look at our main website: http://www.ZiaGroup.com. My Team and I have spent thousands of dollars, as well as countless hours, to make sure that our website stays cutting edge and always offers our visitors pertinent and up-to-date information. It's a great resource to learn about the local real estate market, to search ALL of the homes for sale in Santa Barbara (and ALL of Southern California), learn pricing trends, and even read about the history of different neighborhoods.
If you have any more questions, please visit my website or contact me directly. I look forward to speaking with you.
Charlene, I guess that there are no agents on Trulia from that area. So sorry you haven't gotten an answer. What about calling the area Chamber of Commerce and asking a few questions, they may be able to help you. Or, I often go to an area on a weekend day, see who is out, and ask questions of the people who live right there! You might give that a try!
