now i know crime is every where you might go but i have been hearing that jamaica queens is not a good area if this is not true what part is not too

If you like a certain house , best thing is to ring next door neighbor and talk to them.
they are the best source of information

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors.
