Hello,
I would like to make sure your son is aware of the new website for rentals for the military nationwide. It is http://www.ahrn.com Automated Housing Referral network. You have to be military or retired to access this site and it will give you alot more options than you will find on the other lists, however, they are good resources as well. I retired from Malmstrom in 2001 and Real Estate Salutions is right off base. He has been here for awhile and if he needs something other than where he is, please have him contact me. He may want to consider buying as well with the $8000.00 tax credit. He can call or text me at (406) 231-0520 or visit the office at 5601 8th Ave S.

Thank you

Sure, I'm a Realtor in G.F. I was even stationed at Malmstrom for 5 years. I can email you the neighborworks rental property list. It comes out weekly. My email is hutch@hpbrokerage.com

-Thanks,
Josh

I have been living in Great Falls for the last 11 years and I will tell you the most useful information that I got when I arrived, new to Malmstrom 11 years ago. Stay out of the low number streets and Ave #'s. The main portion of town is set up on a grid and the low number addresses are in the center of town and that is where the lower quality housing is. Great Falls really does not have any unsafe areas. The most common thing your get is vandalism. There are lots of nice neighborhoods. There are good listings available at the base housing office. I wish him good luck and hope he enjoys his assignment. My husband and I liked it so much we stayed once we retired.
