When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

I agree with Tim Moore from North Carolina - crime happens everywhere. You can't make a blanket statement like that and expect no one to challenge you on it. :-)

If you really want to know the crime statistics for any area, most Sheriff's Departments have websites that will provide you with this information. Pasco County Sheriff's Department's website is super easy to use to find criminal reports. You can click on the following link to check it out:

I have lived in Hudson for over 20 years and love it here
. The traffic in other bigger towns is unbearable
.If you like the easy access and the country settings you will love it here.
We are right across from Orlando and North of St.Pete and Clearwater .The airport in Tampa is 20min. at most .Crime is everywhere these days.

Really? This is one of the dumbest questions ever. Where do you get your information? Unfortunately there is crime all over Florida, as there is nationwide, better or worse. I think we are way behind St Pete or Tampa. Our sherriff, Chris Nocco, is doing a great job and I think if you carefully read the Hudson/Pasco record it will bear this out.

I so much agree with Daniel Hunter, you must live in a really bad part of town if you think that and you're an realtor!!!! OMG
