I own and sell property and log homes in the Sparta area. Mostly east of Sparta on the plateau. lovely place to live. i have been bothered by small time thievery if a place looks deserted or left alone but have never felt afraid. as more people move into area it improves. People from FL,MI, CA,OH seem to be flocking here

Sparta is predominately white. It is a very safe, nice and friendly place to live. You should enjoy living there immensely.
