Those managers are full of it. In the time that I lived there, the police were there at least 3 times a week. Once they had probably about 10 unmarked police cars, and 60 marked for a hostage situation in the next building over. I would constantly hear gunshots, and since I moved out there have been TWO cases of ( suspected) bomb threats, a sexual assault, and now a dead body. ALL IN THE 1802 BUILDING (which happened to be the building I lived in). To be honest, living under a bridge is probably safer than living in this dump. The landlord is scum, and that complex went through 5 different managers in the 6 months that I lived there. Terrible, terrible place.
