Hi Winnie,

Nice home!! Sounds like you are saying 'compared to what'? The calculations are 'per captia'. How many crimes per amount of citizens in the area. This is one of the best in Denver and Denver is in the top 10 in the nation as shown here - If you need help with this or another home don't hesitate to let me know.

Hello Winnie,
There are stats available from the Denver Police Department web site as well as other web sites. How Denver stacks up against other metropolitan areas is not something we track as Realtors because we are prohibited from providing this information. There have been news stories on this subject. You should google the information you are seeking.

We (realtors) cannot talk about crime rates and such. Best resource is the sheriff's site and local law enforcements for these answers.

A Realtor cannot tell you if a neighborhood is safe or dangerous. Florida real estate law precludes real estate agents from sharing crime rates and whether or not we know the subject property is circled by homes occupied with sex offenders. I cannot speak about other states, but what we do instead is give them the sites for them to do their due diligence. The local police department can assist as well as other sites online as well as smartphone apps.

Best of luck to you,
