When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local authorities with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods. http://www.neighborhoodscout.com/

http://www.roundrocktexas.gov/home/index.asp?page=551 has the police reports of many subdivisions, all you have to do is click on the one interested in.
I live close to this subdivision and the crime activity is very low,
We have not had any problems and neighbors look out for each other and any strange activity. The subdivisions have officers assigned by sections or subdivisions and you can call the Police Station and talk tot them personally,http://www.roundrocktexas.gov ,/docs http://www.roundrocktexas.gov/home/index.asp?page=579.
http://www.roundrocktexas.gov/docs/NCR_South_Creek.pdf lists the crime reports of this subdivision.
I think we are in the David Sector and the police officers are listed in this section and phone numbers are listed to contact them,http://www.roundrocktexas.gov/home/index.asp?page=833.
I have had the opportunity to contact and they are very helpful.local I hope these local contacts help you ,
