You will have to review the website for the key to their color coding.

http://www.CrimeReports.com will pin point specific crimes so you have a better understanding of the types and frequency of crimes in the area.

I don't know which crime map you are looking at so I can only propose some possible explanations.

The Los Gatos Creek Trail runs behind homes on one side of the street. Crimes reported anywhere along the trail may be counted as nearby even though they aren't.

There may be crimes reported which are related to the public land associated with the creek such a vagrancy, unlawful disposal of trash, etc

The Willow Street may simply be the arbitrary dividing line between areas.

I checked out Crime Reports, I see no function which makes different sides of a street a different color? Actually I don't see any coding by color? Please clarify what software you are using.

There are 6000+ Realtors in Santa Clara County alone. As with any occupation, law, medicine, etc... all Realtors are not equal in experience, skills, training and effectiveness. Take the time to learn about a few Realtors and interview a couple. Hire the best. Why not?

A line has to be drawn somewhere to differentiate between one region and another. It’s the same with schools: frequently, kids on one side of a street go to one school while kids on the other to a different one. Same with zip codes … pizza delivery areas … you get the idea.

For a better idea of crime in any given area, look at all the websites below:
