As a realtor I always recommend my buyer to check crime tats with the local police, since as realtors
we are not allowed to put one neighborhood above another.

Unfortunetly crime happens everywhere ! I don't think real estate agents are just out to get a sale!
Where did you pull your stats?

Realtors will tell you a home is in a great neighborhood, because they want to sell houses. Look up the local crime stats instead, and drive through the area at night. "Great starter homes" are not great when riddled with bullets.

Leanne is totally right . anything North of Downtown seems to be sooo right. Coming to think of it, that is an old classic all over the world. The Northen parts always seem to have a better nimbus.
