I have previously attended Fordham University and I am very familiar with the Bronx. The safest area would be Pelham Parkway, Morris Park, Throggs Neck and Pelham Bay.

Most students that attend Fordham University and do not want to live on campus rent apartments in the Little Italy section of The Bronx. It is about 2-3 blocks from Fordham University. Check out my profile to view current listings that I have are near Fordham University. Our office is conveniently located in the heart of Little Italy on 187th Street and Arthur Avenue.

In regards to safest neighborhood you can always contact the local police department and they will be able to guide you.

If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.…
