If you are looking at school districts, the dividing street is Lake St. If you are on the south side of it, then you are in the better school districts of elementary and middle school. If you are on the other side it's a toss up as far as high schools go but you will not be in the S.J. Welsh middle school district. Regarding crime rates as long as you stay south of Ryan and Sale but before the I-210 lope you can generally assume that the crime rate will be low. Anywhere else you are going to have to look at it street by street.

You can also call the City Police Department to find out the areas of most calls.

There is a web site called crimereports.com to find out where and what type of crimes are taking place in an area. Neighbors are always a great source of information, too.
