You might look at my home at 2011 Edgehill Drive, sa, 78209
its a four bedroom, double master, ceiling to floor glass.
quarter acre lot.
Alamo Heights School, consisdered one of the top of not the best district in SA.
Small, like private school.
Alamo Heights is a great area, great neighbors. Low traffic as it is already built.
No surprise highways.
call Louis, you might love it.
price 295,000
3,300 sq feet.
2 car garage. Huge lot. double sided fireplace. Hidden courtyard. Huge oak trees.

I am NOT an agent but, My daughter and son-in-law purchased a home in this area & they ADORE it. It is sooo family friendly. They have 2 kids & from day 1, all the other children in the neighborhood came around to see who their new friends would be!! This is a KB neighborhood & the reason I like THIS neighborhood more than their other ones is because it is NOT too big!!! In fact, it is relatively small for KB Homes! The other thing I like is that not all the homes look alike!! No cookie cutter homes here. There is sooo much variety, it REALLY IMPRESSES ME!!!! That is really hard to do since I can't stand living in the city. I live waaaaay out in the country and I enjoy my country life. This area is really on the fringe. Not in the country but close enough. Not in the city but less than 5 min. away.
This is the area: (just copy & paste to your browser)
http://www.kbhome.com/new-homes-san-antonio/cobblestone... If you scroll down & look on the left, you will see: 1. FLOORPLANS 2. EXPLORE THE NEIGHBORHOOD & 3. SALES OFFICE & DIRECTIONS

They have an awesome pool, park & playground!!! I have visited my kids VERY OFTEN and I have been sooo very impressed with this area.

Oh, The schools in the area are FANTASTIC!!! There are several brand new schools. The bus picks up the children very near thier homes!!

Anyhow, I just thought I would give you my take on an area that has throughly impressed me!!
God Bless you and your family!!!!

San Antonio is definitely an amazing place to live! We ranked #30 in America's 50 Best Cities to live. The home of the Alamo, San Antonio beats in-state rival Dallas this year, thanks to a better local economy and significantly lower crime.

Crime Stats: http://www.raidsonline.com/?address= San%20Antonio%20TX

School Ratings: http://www.greatschools.org/texas/san-antonio/

Those sites seem to help my clients out a lot when selecting which areas they would like to focus on.

To complete the puzzle, I can e-mail you all of the homes that fit exactly what you are looking for. I just need to know the basic specs... Size, Area, Price Range, etc...

Shoot me an e-mail, text, or give me a call at 210-389-5266 and I'll send you a bunch of homes to check out :)

You picked an amazing time to be looking.. not only is this an amazing buyer's market, but if you buy a home during the Holidays... YOU WILL JUST ABOUT STEAL IT :)

First, are you in Military or Medical careers? You may want an easy commute to one of the military bases or medical centers.
Then, we can check school district websites and individual schools' performance ratings.
Last, we check websites for neighborhood crime, demographics, flood zones, etc.

San Antonio has some great school districts in various price range neighborhoods.
Wishing you all the best!

Many many parts of San Antonio fit this descriprion :-) This is why I relocated and call SA home. It is one of the safest cleanest cities in the US and has incredible communities. Have you thought about What price range is "not too expensive" and how you define "great schools". ?? Everyone has their own answer. Most people take a while to figure these details out for themselves and oi am happy to help.

Would love to help....w/ twenty plus years here in SA...I know where I would buy and spend my money in every price range. I consider carefully where it's possible to buy in a given price range... and then decide among those areas based primarily on schools, crime rates, and the history of the area in relation to appreciation---
Call me ---I know this city Very Well..
