Hi Mario,

Prospect Avenue is known as the "New York of New Jersey." Over the past decade or so many professionals have moved to the area to reside, but travel to work in the city because of the fantastic transit service -- both bus and train. I have lived on Prospect Avenue for many years, and also have had the wonderful opportunity to sell many condos and co-ops along the avenue. Recently there has also been an influx of retirees who have downsized after selling their homes. The area is safe, it's beautiful, and there are many small businesses that have opened within walking distance; i.e., Starbucks, restaurants, salons, pharmacies, etc. Throughout the day and evening residents enjoy the area, and it's exciting to see people walking, jogging, strolling, or simply enjoying the outdoors. Because of the expanding Hackensack Medical Center and the many buildings with doorman services, the area is patrolled and safety is maintained. I can honestly say that I have never had an issue or problem in the years that I have lived on Prospect Avenue. Also, Hackensack has an extensive school system enhanced by many incredible resources and programs for children of all ages. With my depth of knowledge about Hackensack and it's real estate, I would be happy to talk with you and schedule appointments for you to see properties that meet your needs and criteria. I look forward to working with you to find your perfect new residence.

Hi Mario,

I am a local agent who specializes in the Prospect Ave area. Prospect Ave is a very safe place to live. Many of the buildings along the avenue have doormen who monitor the people coming in and out of the buildings. I would be happy to show you some places on the market in the area and can take you around town to give you a tour of the neighborhood.

Mario,

Questions regarding the issue of neighborhood safety are often best referred to the local police or county sheriff's department. They have access to the most current and accurate information and are generally quite willing to be helpful.

Good luck
