We are seeking rental homes, and not apartment communities. We have heard much about Harker Heights, and are curious about others such as Copperas Cove. We simply want to sleep at night without worrying about looking out the window and seeing somone(s) rousting about in our vehicles or vandelizing property. We know that crime has no address, but choose not to be in its favorite hang outs. : )

Yes, crime is everywhere. Whatever neighborhood you think might suit you well, it would be wise to check to see if there is an active neighborhood watch. The police department can also inform you on the crime rates in different areas.

I think you got some good advice already. Realtors by law are not allowed to tell a client (customer) about crime rates. That would be for KPD to answer.
