Is Hillman Street in Youngstown a safe place for a young family?
I am not from Youngstown, but visited there last year. I saw the Canfield area. I used my tax money to buy a home on Hillman at 3324 via ebay this week. I know no one from Youngstown and wanted to know if Hillman Street is a decent place to live? I bought the house very cheap, and will rent or sell it if the area is very high crime or unsafe. Any advice or information to offer? I would greatly appreciate it Trulia.

Agents are not allowed to comment on a neighborhood's safety. You can, however, contact the local police department and ask for stats. Visit the many web sites that rate the area and search street by street for offenders. Your best opinion will come from you - go there, spend time there.
