Like any city has areas that are safe and that are not. You have to come and look, I live in the city, I homeschool my children here...the people that is telling Flint Township is telling you no to Flint and in reality Flint is really nice. The price is very reasonable and has very good private schools for children: Saint John Vianney and Saint Paul Lutheran.

If you are more specific I can give you a better answer.

Are you looking for just Flint there area a lot of great places just 5 min from Flint. Look at flint township Carman Ainswoth schools but 48506 is a hard area to sell later on when people who know the area are looking they see that zip and just keep on going. There are nice areas in that zip but no one wants the schools.

Hello,

Realtors cannot answer questions about things of that nature, but we can direct you to where you can get the answers for yourself.

I would first call the Police Department of that city and talk to someone who can specifically answer questions like that. I would also go the neighborhood and talk to neighbors or local merchants. In addition to that I would do some research online at sites like the ones pasted below;

https://www.crimereports.com/

http://www.neighborhoodscout.com/

I hope this helps and Good Luck!
