Hi Qinana,

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police website covering Clark County and the City of Las Vegas, has a page where you can search crime statistics. We've included the link below.
http://69.69.103.31/crimeviewcommunity/

For areas covered by N. Las Vegas police:
http://www.cityofnorthlasvegas.com/departments/police/CrimeS…

For the City of Henderson:

Hope this helps,

This is the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Crimeview website. http://69.69.103.31/crimeviewcommunity/ Type in the address of the property your are asking about and it will show you the crimes in that area that occurred in the last 60 days. Hope this helps.

I always recommend use of n Alarm System no matter what the crime stats say. For a $1 a Day, this is the best safety protection. Call the local alram companies, they will give you the straight facts on where the problem areas are.

Qinana,

When I am asked by my clients about crime statistics in the neighborhood they are buying, I always suggest to them to contact the police department in the same area and suggest that they talk to the neighbors to get better information. Also another suggestion before buying a property is to drive around the neighborhood in different times if the day.

The other responses
to your questions gave you some great links to find the statistics you want. Also some of the community news papers have a section on crime statistics. I would suggest that you can use google to get any information you want.
Thank You

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.
