I am considering moving onto Rugby in College Park, Georgia. I am wondering if it is safe to walk at night

there and, in general, about safety of the neighborhood as I know it is in transition. Any College Park folk's comments would be most helpful.

I would recommend you contact the College Park Police Department, or Fulton County Sherriff Ofc. They can talk to you about crime in the area. If you need any Realtor Services please do not hesitate to contact. Regards, Curtis

Thanks for the answers. I think that I will go to the police dept there tomorrow. The literal crime rate does not look promising, but sometimes trouble is pocketed. Still open to more commentary.

I agree with Lorie. Also, it's worth pointing out that once you become a local, your fear should subside. I grew up in one of the worst areas of Atlanta, but never even knew it! Until after I left. I've heard similiar stories.

Drive through there at night or when you plan to go walking. See who's out and who's hanging around. Do this a little bit and you should get a feel for the area. To me this will be better research than any report.

I would recommend to pull the criminal report for the area and street... that will give you all the information you need.
