Tyler is a fanstastic place to live and raise a family. There are small pockets or areas that might have slightly higher crime rate in an area with an overall low crime rate. We raised our children in Tyler over the past 12 years and have been extremely pleased with the environment. Please let us know if you would like specific information on a particular area or neighborhood.

Samantha, I am a Realtor here in Tyler, Tx. Let me show you around the area. The best way to figure that out is to find a home you like then call the local police department to see how many calls they have had to that area.

Hi! Tyler is a great city! Over all the crime rate is low, but like any city...crime does exist. I never feel unsafe as long as I take the usual steps for safety. You can go to http://tylerwatch.ketknbc.com
This is a great web site to monitor crime in the Tyler area.
