How severe was Capitola's Venetian Ct. flooded this winter 2008?

As Debby indicated below, the oldest condos in CA (known as Venetian Ct) got spanked pretty good a few times this winter. I lived in one of the 2nd row buildings back in '92-'93, and we had to sand bag once. The one story front units get hit by flooding to some degree almost every winter, but damage seems to be relatively minor. Insurance costs are most likely high, but the vacation rental rates more than make up for that. My good friend who shared the Venetian Court unit with me, now rents one of the all wood exterior units just across the street at the corner of Wharf and Cliff Dr. Spectacular location anywhere around there!

I have some pictures if you want me to email. I sort of think that they are used to those swells and guess what it happened again this weekend......
