How safe is the area for college students?

Definitely safer than other major cities but no place is completely without crime. @TAMUPolice is good twitter feed to follow to see whats going on crimewise

The previous responses are absolutely correct; we really can't comment on crime. There are lots of good College Station and Bryan online resources, though. A great resource to check is the Texas A&M University Police Department. I added the link for them below. Since you are asking about college students, checking out the on-campus support is a good place to start.

Hi VM, you should really check with the local police and sheriffs departments for this data. They will have the most accurate information. A realtor can't really give you a fully "legal" opinion on this issue for a variety of reasons related to real estate laws and professional liability.

Realtors are not suppose to discuss crime but we can suggest contacting local police departments to get the answer to your question.
