If you go on the Yonkers Police Department Website, there are crime Stats. However, I would advise (especially if you are law enforcement ) to contact City of Yonkers Police | 104 South Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701 | (914) 377-7900. You can ask a fellow officer how the neighborhood is and get a real answer.

There are several websites that will give you this data, and they are neighborhood specific. Realtor's are prohibited from steering or redlining. Good luck.

Hi, that is pretty funny! Unfortunately agents are prohibited from commenting on crime. You can visit http://www.HomeFair.com or http://www.SpotCrime.com for in-depth crime stats. Another option is calling the local police dept.

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

Most of the websites are much too general.

The best way is to go to the local precinct, flash your potsy and ask. They always will assist a fellow officer.

Your local precinct has current crime data for the neighborhood. Contact your local PBA to get additional info.

Hello,
You can check out these web sites for crime data in Yonkers:

http://spotcrime.com/ny/yonkers

http://www.neighborhoodscout.com/ny/yonkers/crime/

Since you are a law enforcement officer, I suggest that you contact the local police there to inquire about the neighborhood and hear it first hand.

Good luck to you!
