Pine Island, NY

We have purchased this home last year and somebody playing realtor (we suspect the previous owner) lists our home on kind of sites.
How can we put an end to this?

Hi Pine island,
if you want to email me your name and address I will pull the tax record and email it to you, and look in the multiple listings system and see what the deal is and help you fix this problem.
Thank you,

If it is showing up as "for sale" still on websites, you should be able to get it removed. Contact your local Association of REALTORS office. They usually manager the local MLS system where the listings are fed to different websites and should be able to help you. If your house is on different websites showing as sold, there isn't much you can do since the sale info is public record.

Hi New,
Well some of the information you are looking at is public record and it does not mean that it is for sale. Unless it says For Sale, and there is no listing contract, then, that is an issue.

However, you could contact each website webmaster or owner to remove your home information.
If your property was listed at one time, such information could have been feed to other websites , such as Trulia.

Pubic Record could be obtain by anyone.
