High crime areas to avoid?

Robert

Moving from Los Angeles to Hot Springs soon. Trying to find out if any certain area(s) in Hot Springs require flack vests or helmets(lol) to survive. Trying to find an old 2 story home in a relative calm area. Any info. on downtown, east, west, etc. of areas would be a great help. One house is located in HS Natl Park .

There are many nice homes in the historic district. Street names like Prospect and Quapaw are in this area. Contact the Hot Springs Police Dept. for any statistics on specific areas of the city.

Hello Robert,
As Lynn stated previously, we as REALTORS cannot steer you, however, we can show you homes that are available in the style, with the features, and in the price range that you comfortable with. Public information is available through tax records, school info, crime stats, the local Chamber of Commerce, etc...
Hot Springs is a lovely resort city with many fine older homes with tons of character, charm and beauty. Contact me through my web site http://www.RealGoodLotsOrHomes.com and I can put you in touch with an assocaite in Hot Springs. Thanks and Good House Hunting!
