Yup. I've seen 50 point increases in days all depends on whats on your report that's bringing your scores down.

Unless you are doing a rapid rescore (which I know how to do), then it is impossible. A Rapid Rescore works quickly but it depends on how accurate your information is. For instance, if you have paid down a debt, then you should have a letter from the credit bureau showing it paid. That letter, sent in with the Rapid Rescore paperwork, can be completed in as little as 48 hours. If you do not have that information, it can take 30 days.

I have seen scores jump up instantly after a credit card or any other debt payment is paid in full.

Sure, anything is possible when you put forth the effort. Speak with a lender or a service that does credit repair.

Hi Donna,

Yes, if you can have your score increase in one week if you have a letter from a creditor ,that had a collection or late payment, that states the issue has been cleared up and to remove the collection from your credit file.

What I do for my clients at this point is a rapid rescore with all three credit agencies, I have seen 50 points and more happen when a one collection is removed.

Yes, as long as derogatory items are removed legitimately. Work with a Lender and put together a plan to improve your credit. Feel free to contact me.

Sure.

Speak with a lender. They can help build it up as well.

Donna,

It is possible. Are you looking to get pre-approved for a purchase? I have some great lenders you can talk to.

Yes - an inquiry can drop off, a debt can drop off, or positive credit can kick in. Credit scores are very delicate though and not managed properly it could easily drop that fast too. If you are trying to get a loan, my suggestion is you work closely with your mortgage lender to manage your credit and know what will and will not affect your score.

Yes. And your credit score will vary between the three different reporting agencies.

IT'S NOT POSSIBLE BUT YOU CAN PAY DOWN A BUNCH OF DEBT AND HAVE PAID RECEIPTS/LETTERS WHICH WILL HELP YOU SIGNIFICANTLY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO BUY.

Depends on the reporting agency in many cases, but if you are looking to improve your credit score you should be talking to the lender that you will be using when you plan to purchase the home, they can point you in the right direction.
