What you can do to protect your personal credit is to form an LLC that will own your investment properties. Speak to an accountant or attorney to do so.

If your investment properties are held in your name personally, there is no way to remove that trade line from your report.

You probably don't!
But the Credit Companies are not working on Trulia; maybe you should be talking to them.
