In Cochise county, quite a few homes are sold with the seller providing the financing for the buyer. You never know what kind of deal a seller may be willing to do until you ask. If you can offer a decent down payment to the seller, it can end up being a great deal for everyone.

Hi Mojo_jojo, welcome to southern Arizona. My advise is always to rent first, at least for six months. By that time, you will know whether this job is going to be fairly permanent. Also, living in the area will give you a much better chance to gauge the local market. You will also be able to explore the areas around the Fort and be able to make a much more educated decision. Renting initially might cost you a little more in the beginning, but will save you big bucks in the end. As you explore the area, you might even decide to relocate to Bisbee. if so, I would be pleased to assist you.

Hi Olga, If you are only late for last months mortgage payment, there is no need for you to go out and hire your own lawyer. Always make sure that the letter or any other communication you receive is from your mortgage company. Only deal with your mortgage company. Ask them if they sent out any letters. Do everything you can to bring payment current. Make a decision what you want to do with your home. A reputable Realtor would be happy to discuss your options at no cost to you. Good Luck.
