I'll rephrase your question - "My credit score shows a proven track record of accumulating debt with no intention of paying yet I make a ton of money that I don't use to meet my responsibilities.....will someone please give me a bunch more money knowing I won't pay them back?" Kathy in Butler county I have seen lenders excercise their deficiency judgement rights and forclose on other properties. This process seems to run a lot quicker if the lender is the same on all the properties. I have also seen them come after the primary residence. A person that lives on my street is going through this now. He lost 4 properties in forclosure and they have successfully forclosed on his primary residence. It is not scheduled for Jones to auction it yet but all that is left is to schedule the auction date.... more
While going on line to sites like Zillow are helpful, nothing replaces the value that a good local agent can bring when determining the value of a home. Find an agent who works the area in which you live, or are looking to buy, specifically someone who tours the homes and has actually been inside most of them. That type of agent usually has excellent market knowledge and brings tremendous value to you. Good luck.
The person has equal rights in all decisions. I would guess that this is either an FHA or a bank held portfolio loan. You can get them removed if you credit qualify them off the loan and title. In order to avoid the 20% down payment, you would have to purchase the home as your primary residence. Banks are telling you that you need the down payment because the home would be a vacation property. Do you plan on living in the residence for at least 6 months and 1 day?
