Actually, I just sold a home in Cypress Landing at 105 St Johns Ct. We also sold a home on the water at 113 Pamlico Lane, and one at 201 Appomattox. It is true that in this economy the higher price homes are not selling at the rate they were a few years ago. However, that trend seems to be changing.
Most homes that are selling now are in the $150K to $250K range. I recently sold three homes in Cypress Corner (near Cypress Landing), and four homes in Greenville in that price range.
The good news is, that never has there been a better time to buy a home at an affordable price. Interest rates are hovering around 3.5% and financing is relatively easy to get.
For example, I presently have two brand new homes listed in Cypress Corner (with access to the river at the community boat ramp), with tile and engineered hardwood floors, granite counters, stone gas log fireplaces, double car garages... really nice at very affordable prices.
